Dear Visitor, welcome to our website

We would like to take a minute of your time and introduce our jewelry making classes (Classes Schedule is here) and our new book.

Mixed Media Jewelry Techniques

by Lana May & Her Friends.

Seed bead designer and teacher, Lana May has gathered together an intimate group of instructors, who conduct jewelry making classes at the J.O.G.S. Gems in Tucson, Arizona every February and September. Our tightly knit group includes multi-award winning jewelry designers in a variety of mediums such as seed beads; wire; polymer clay; beads; metals; glass lamp working, crochet, chain mail and PMC, (Precious Metal Clay). While enjoying a dinner together in 2008, someone brought up the idea that we should collaborate to write a book that would combine our various mediums into unique designs. Such a book would be published to encourage studio jewelers to begin associating with peers of different jewelry making skills, combining design ideas and creating exciting new pieces together. This book is a result of collaborative effort.

International exhibition “One of a Kind” took place in February, 2010, 2010 in Tucson. It was very successful, but it was for American designers only. Many designers were invited to different jewelry associations to teach workshops. Art galleries from all over the US offered to hold exhibition-sales for the designers. Some works were picked for publishing in magazines, books, and catalogs.

We are  looking forward to your decisions.
